The Australian Federal Police is hiring qualified professionals for the role of Intelligence Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead an intelligence team analyzing collected data to produce actionable insights influencing organizational decision-making.
  • Develop strategies and plans for the intelligence team to provide tactical, operational, and strategic analysis supporting critical decision making.
  • Support and develop team members in their professional growth, mentoring them in leadership development.
  • Manage team performance, ensuring outputs align with the agency's strategic direction.
  • Bilateral relationships with internal and external networks, particularly key partners in law enforcement and intelligence agencies.
Essential Requirements
  • Australian citizenship at time of application.
  • Negative Vetting 2 security clearance or ability to obtain one.
  • Extensive knowledge of intelligence concepts and methods.
  • Proven experience leading and managing an intelligence team within a law enforcement agency or similar organization.
  • Ability to set strategic direction for an intelligence team and deliver operational outcomes.
