Agronomy Professional

We are seeking a skilled agronomist to join our team in Toowoomba. As a trusted advisor to cropping clients across the Darling Downs and Western Downs region, you will provide practical advice and support that helps growers make informed decisions.

You will work in the field and in-store, supporting clients with planning, input selection, and new technology adoption, while identifying opportunities to expand services.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with broadacre cropping clients.
  • Provide tailored advice on chemical, fertiliser, seed and soil health.
  • Conduct in-field assessments and deliver crop monitoring and planning services.
  • Develop seasonal programs and input plans to support on-farm success.
  • Identify opportunities to grow your client base and expand services.

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in agricultural science or a related field.
  • Practical experience in broadacre/ horticulture/ viticulture agronomy or crop consulting.
  • Strong technical knowledge of cropping systems and sustainable input planning.
  • Sound use of digital farm management systems for planning and recording recommendations.
  • Current driver's licence and ability to work independently in the field.
