Role Summary:

We seek a highly skilled Agricultural Automation Specialist to support the adoption of cutting-edge technology and drive the precision farming agenda.

This specialist will collaborate with a team to execute the company’s precision agriculture strategy, focusing on the Grain and Cotton industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for determining the applicability of new release machine automation technology to local farming systems, working closely with key account customers to identify precision ag solutions, and developing expertise in optimising machine setup to maximise return on investment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the execution of the precision ag strategy by collaborating with a team of specialists
  • Determine the applicability of new release machine automation technology to local farming systems
  • Work closely with key account customers to identify precision ag solutions applicable to their agribusiness
  • Develop expertise in optimising machine setup to maximise return on investment from on-machine technology

Requirements:
  • Practical experience in understanding agricultural mechanisation and crop production
  • Practical experience in knowledge of basic agronomy and solid organisational skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel to store locations and customers
