Job Opportunity: Training and Development Specialist

This role plays a vital part in driving business growth by designing, delivering, and managing effective training solutions that address capability gaps and improve stakeholder engagement.

About the Role:

  • You will design and deliver customized training programs and learning paths for staff across the organization.
  • Conduct thorough learning needs analysis and assessment of capability requirements to inform training decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement training strategies that meet business objectives.
  • Interpret and communicate results of external benchmarking to identify knowledge and skills gaps, and develop targeted solutions to bridge these gaps.
  • Lead and manage new employees during the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition into their roles.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive training plan and framework that aligns with business goals and objectives.
  • Engage new employees and encourage completion of critical training modules during their onboarding journey.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to continuously improve training outcomes, stakeholder engagement, and participant satisfaction.
  • Evaluate Quality Assurance tools for business suitability and manage upgrades as needed.

About You:

We are seeking a proactive, solutions-focused professional with:

  • A certificate in Assessment and Workplace Training or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in training or coaching with a proven track record of achieving business outcomes and improvements.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, influencing, liaison, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to engage with people at all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience using Learning Management Systems.
