Key Position: Principal Legal Officer

The National Heavy Vehicle Regulator seeks a highly experienced legal professional to provide advisory support on various legal matters.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert legal advice on commercial, property, and technology-related legal matters.
  2. Advise on contracts, leases, licenses, insurance, intellectual property, procurement, and compliance.
  3. Lead or support negotiations with contractors, government agencies, and other parties.
  4. Draft and review legal documents, reports, and presentations.
  5. Help shape the organization's legal strategies and policies.
  6. Promote legal risk management aligned with the governance standards.

Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in commercial law and contract negotiation.
  • Ability to strategically manage legal risk.
