Job Description

At our Melbourne based fine jewellery studio, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Gemological Assistant and Stock Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to work with precious stones and be responsible for the daily coordination of our gemstone inventory.

The successful candidate will have a true passion for gemstones, impeccable attention to detail, and exposure to diamond/coloured gemstone grading. They will be responsible for ensuring high level quality control, assisting in the local procurement of gemstones, and maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and systems.

  • Systematic and thorough approach with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in written, verbal and computer skills
