We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of Production at our Melbourne based fine jewellery studio.

With a passion for gemstones and design, CW specialises in bespoke custom-made jewellery with a focus on engagement and ceremonial jewellery. We take pride in our extensive gemstone collection of antique & modern diamonds and coloured gemstones and use a variety of production methods, including CAD and handmakes.

As the Head of Production you will be responsible for the profitable management and overseeing of all jewellery production from order placement to delivery and will work closely with the Creative Director and the Sales and Operations Manager to assist in leading the production team.

You will work with initiative and proactivity, with the goal of streamlining and constantly improving our production processes, customer experience and profitability.

In the role, you will be engaging in the creative elements of the business - ensuring the highest quality output of all Jewellery while leading our production team across the manufacturing process.

**Key Skills and attributes**:

- You are highly experienced in the jewellery industry and/or production of jewellery, with a good general knowledge of precious metals, diamonds and coloured gemstones
- Ability to delegate and manage people. Oversee high level management of workflow whilst also ensuring your team are across the details and internal processes are being adhered to
- You are an experienced and natural leader, clear communicator and relationship builder who will manage and oversee the Production team to ensure the profitable control of all production processes.
- Exceptional people and communication skills. You will be the key liaison between your team and our external suppliers
- As the keystone to our customers CW experience, you are responsible for ensuring all works are completed to the highest CW standards and on time.
- You understand the demands and requirements of customers and plan and monitor production process accordingly; coordinating with other departments; ensuring quality check of the finished product and delivery of jewellery on time as per order.
- You are highly organised and have meticulous attention to detail, work well under pressure and can complete projects from start to finish.
- You work with passion, initiative and proactivity, with the goal of streamlining and constantly improving our production processes, experience and profitability.
