Job Role:

  • Leads a team of Urban Planners in NSW, ensuring correct staffing levels and resourcing of projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides professional planning advice in statutory and strategic planning.
  • Contributes to multi-disciplinary project teams and works independently as a Principal planner on own projects.
  • Develops and mentors junior staff.
  • Prepares strategies, reports, environmental impact assessments, and other planning documentation and submissions for clients.
  • Undertakes technical and quality reviews of documentation prepared by the planning team.
  • Fosters client relationships and identifies business opportunities.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Planning or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a consultancy environment.
  • Proficiency in urban planning research, data analysis, and report writing.
  • Extensive experience in statutory or strategic planning, preferably within NSW.
