Job Title: Support Partner

CAM CAN is a family-led organisation providing individualised and tailored support to people with disabilities and their families to achieve their goals and aspirations.

We are seeking a skilled Support Partner to support a 22-year-old female in her home and community, assisting her with daily tasks and promoting her independence.

The ideal candidate will be committed, fun-loving, caring, strong-willed, and energetic, with good professional boundaries and excellent communication skills. Previous experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviours is preferred but not essential.

The successful candidate will work within a relational and person-centred framework, assisting the member with emotional regulation, boundary setting, and healthy expressions of emotions. They will also engage in community activities and promote social inclusion.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the member with daily tasks, such as food preparation and household chores
  • Providing emotional support and guidance on healthy relationships and boundaries
  • Engaging in community activities and promoting social inclusion
  • Working collaboratively with the member's network of support staff and family members

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (required)
  • Driver Licence (required)
