We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Emergency Response Coordinator.

Job Description

This is a critical position that requires the ability to coordinate emergency response procedures and systems, maintain and enhance safety and compliance standards, and manage First Aid, Mines Rescue, and Firefighting equipment.

About the Role

In this role, you will support the Compliance team by ensuring all aspects of emergency response are up-to-date and effective.

  • Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
  • Maintain and upgrade safety and compliance standards across all emergency response activities.
  • Manage and maintain First Aid, Mines Rescue, and Firefighting equipment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating emergency response training and drills for employees.
  • Conducting regular inspections of emergency response equipment and facilities.
  • Ensuring all emergency response procedures are aligned with industry best practices.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive underground mining experience.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Fire Officer certification and valid First Aid Certificate.
  • Demonstrated experience in Mines Rescue operations.

You will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
