Mine Site Cleaning Supervisor

Our organization is seeking Mine Site cleaning Supervisors to work across various locations throughout Queensland, including Blackwater, Dysart and Moranbah.

  • The daily management and supervision of between 5 to 15 cleaners.
  • Cleaning of communal buildings and facilities on the mine site, including offices, training rooms, crib huts, wash rooms, locker rooms, and bath houses.
  • Waste removal, power washing pathways, and light grounds work.
  • Training of new employees.
  • Conducting effective prestart meetings, attending to performance issues, demonstrating and reinforcing safe behaviors, investigating and reporting hazards/incidents, and preparing performance reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Supervisor Certificates (S123 & G2).
  • Experience as a supervisor or relevant role.
  • Advanced interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Advanced computer skills (Microsoft applications).
  • Availability for a 7/7 roster, subject to change due to operational requirements.
  • Reliable transport and backup.
  • Neat, tidy, and professional appearance.
  • Adaptability to extreme weather in Central QLD.
