About The Business

Moolarben Coal Mine produces over 21 million tonnes per annum with both underground and open-cut operations, employing over 800 staff.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Based on-site at Moolarben Coal Operations, reporting to the Shift Area Leader (Undermanager), you will:

  • Operate a variety of underground mining equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Act in the best interests of the business.
Skills and Experience
Essential Criteria
  • Longwall and Development equipment operating skills
  • Underground diesel equipment operating skills
  • Professional work ethic and commitment to improvement
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Current Driver's License
Desirable Criteria
  • Mines Rescue trained
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Tertiary Mining Education
