Financial Systems Professional

We are seeking an experienced Financial Systems Professional to play a key role in supporting our day-to-day financial operations and ensuring seamless integration with core financial systems.

The successful candidate will deliver accurate, timely, and reliable guidance that upholds high standards and meets the diverse needs of stakeholders across the organisation.

This includes contributing to the design, development, and configuration of ERP functionality, modules, and financial applications tailored to business requirements. This involves customising existing solutions, integrating with enterprise systems, such as HR, Student, IT, and third-party platforms, and ensuring seamless data flow to optimise performance, scalability, and user experience.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Completion of a relevant degree with extensive experience in financial systems administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience in a financial systems environment;
  • Demonstrated high-level expertise in enterprise financial systems and understanding of finance and payroll literacy and processes, expertise and experience in the use of MS Office programs (advanced Excel skills) and accounting software;
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, XLOne, ETL, SQL, Power BI) and Business Process Automation and AI Tools; and
  • Experience managing system upgrades, testing, and change control processes.
  • Relevant experience in the higher education sector.
  • Knowledge and previous experience with TechnologyOne, the organisation's enterprise finance system.
