About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful achievement of HSE standards and targets, in accordance with our HSE Management System.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide input into HSE plans and ensure they are in line with project, business, and legislative requirements.
- Undertake HSE inspections and assessments, reporting, documenting, and identifying actions as necessary.
- Coordinate with the Site Manager and Project Manager to ensure all project undertakings are in line with the project HSE plans.
- Review subcontractor documentation for compliance with the project plans.
- Manage site works and subcontractor activities throughout the duration of the project to ensure defect-free handover.
- Coordinate and communicate with the extended project team to achieve project goals.
Requirements
- Hold a minimum of a Diploma of Health & Safety Management.
- Demonstrable experience in delivering successful construction projects in a similar role.
- Knowledge and understanding of legislative and best practice HSE policies, including the National Construction Code and Australian Standards.
- Good knowledge of contract terms and conditions, and industrial relations.
