About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Building Management System (BMS) Service Technician to join our team at Schneider Electric. As a BMS Service Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our customers' building management systems, providing expert technical support and guidance to help them maximize their energy efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Breakdown and Maintenance: Manage the breakdown and maintenance of Building Management Systems, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution of technical issues.
  • Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a high level of knowledge of Schneider Electric products and services, providing expert advice and guidance to customers on how to improve their energy efficiency.
  • Service Delivery: Ensure excellent service delivery is met and achieved within budget and time constraints, working closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Safety Awareness: Practice a high degree of safety awareness, ensuring safety requirements are met onsite and adhering to all relevant safety protocols.
  • On-Call Duties: Participate in on-call duties from time to time, working after hours as required, with on-call allowance and overtime payments applicable.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Be technically skilled in Electrical or Mechanical HVAC or Instrumentation or Controls, with knowledge of building management systems and a passion for finding and implementing energy efficiency solutions.
  • IT Proficiency: Be IT proficient with fault-finding experience and knowledge of network routers, switches, and network hardware.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to build great relationships with customers and work effectively in a customer-facing role.
  • Autonomy and Teamwork: Be a motivated and confident individual, able to work autonomously or as part of a team, prioritizing work and following through to completion.
