Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, our BMS Technicians serve as essential technical partners to our diverse clientele, which includes sectors such as Defence, Retail, and Commercial Real Estate, with a notable emphasis on Healthcare facilities, particularly hospitals. Our technicians are dedicated to collaborating with clients to elevate their operations through improved energy solutions.

Daily Responsibilities:

While each day at Schneider Electric presents unique challenges, our team primarily engages in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of building management and control systems, including troubleshooting, fault detection, programming, and commissioning.

  • Overseeing the repair and upkeep of Building Management Systems.
  • Exhibiting comprehensive product knowledge to propose enhancements to our clients.
  • Ensuring outstanding service delivery within budgetary and time constraints.
  • Maintaining a high level of safety awareness to meet onsite safety standards.
  • Participating in on-call duties as needed, which may require after-hours work. On-call compensation and overtime pay are applicable where relevant.

With technical expertise in Electrical or Mechanical HVAC, Instrumentation, or Controls, you should possess a solid understanding of building management systems (BMS) and a passion for implementing energy-efficient solutions. Proficiency in IT, particularly in fault detection and knowledge of network routers, switches, and hardware, is also required.

As a motivated and confident professional, you should be capable of working independently or as part of a team, prioritizing tasks effectively and following through to completion. Excellent communication skills are vital for building strong relationships and thriving in a customer-facing role.
