We are seeking a skilled technician to join our team as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.

About the Role

As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on large-scale mobile mining equipment. Your role will involve working collaboratively with other technicians to ensure the efficient operation of our fleet.

  • Perform routine servicing, repair and maintenance of heavy earth moving equipment.
  • Complete general maintenance, breakdowns, services and component change outs to a high standard.
  • Source technical information from relevant reference manuals and computer-based systems.
  • Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maximise equipment utilisation.
About You
  • A trade certificate in diesel fitting or equivalent qualification is required.
  • Post-trade experience working in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industry is essential.
  • You will have experience in general maintenance, breakdowns, component change outs and servicing of heavy earth moving equipment.
  • Demonstrated experience with CAT, Komatsu and Hitachi heavy earth moving equipment is highly desirable.
