We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Servicing Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy machinery.
The ideal candidate will possess a Trade Certificate in Diesel Fitting or equivalent qualification, with post-trade experience working in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industry. A strong understanding of servicing, repair, and maintenance procedures for large-scale mobile mining equipment is essential.
- Servicing, repairing, and maintaining large-scale mobile mining equipment
- Completing General Maintenance, Breakdowns, Services, and Component Change outs to a high standard
- Sourcing technical information from relevant reference manuals, OEM, and computer-based systems
- Ensuring good housekeeping standards are maintained at all times
Able to conduct required inspections to maximise equipment utilisation and provide expert technical advice when needed.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
Key Skills and Qualifications- Trade Certificate in Diesel Fitting or equivalent qualification
- Post-trade experience working in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industry
- Demonstrated experience with CAT, Komatsu, and Hitachi Heavy Earth Moving Equipment
