Mobile Equipment Technician

We are seeking a skilled professional to perform servicing, repair and maintenance of large-scale mobile mining equipment.

  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs and servicing of heavy earth moving equipment as directed by company documentation.
  • Conduct general maintenance, breakdowns, services and component change outs to a high standard.
  • Source technical information from relevant reference manuals, OEM systems and computer-based platforms.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace at all times.
  • Carry out regular inspections to maximise equipment utilisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Trade Certificate in Diesel Fitting or equivalent trade qualification.
  • Post-trade experience working in the mining or heavy earth moving industry.
  • Experience in general maintenance, breakdowns, component change outs and servicing of heavy earth moving equipment.
  • Demonstrated expertise with CAT, Komatsu and Hitachi heavy earth moving equipment.
