About the Role

You will be responsible for performing routine servicing, repair, and maintenance tasks on large-scale mobile mining equipment. Your work will involve collaborating with our team to deliver high-quality solutions and results.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine servicing, repair, and maintenance tasks as per manufacturer documentation.
  • Conduct general maintenance, breakdowns, services, and component change-outs to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Source technical information from relevant reference manuals, OEM systems, and computer-based systems.
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards at all times.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maximize equipment utilization.
About You
  • To be successful in this role, you will need to have a trade certificate in diesel fitting or equivalent qualification.
  • Prior experience working in the mining or heavy earth moving industry is essential.
  • You should demonstrate experience in general maintenance, breakdowns, component change-outs, and servicing of heavy earth moving equipment.
  • Familiarity with CAT, Komatsu, and Hitachi heavy earth moving equipment is highly desirable.
