About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at Australia Post. As a Retail Customer Service Officer, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional customer experiences and providing support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service and sales support to customers
  • Manage high-value transactions accurately, including cash, cheques, credit cards, and EFTPOS
  • Conduct and process identity services transactions, including Australian Passport Interviews
  • Promote our products and services through up-selling and cross-selling, merchandising, and other promotional activities
  • Assist customers with mail lodgements and associated costs
  • Build rewarding relationships with customers by understanding their needs
  • Assist with administrative duties, such as stocktaking and record maintenance

About You

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will need to have experience in customer service and/or cash handling, as well as be fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly and stand for your shift.
