Academic Support Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced educator to provide individualized support to 3 students in English, Math, and Science.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with primary school and high school students, as well as excellent communication skills.

The successful applicant will be available to work afternoons (4-6pm) on Mondays and Thursdays, although flexibility is negotiable.

Previous tutoring or teaching experience is essential, and reference checks will be conducted.

This role would suit a university student or recent school leaver looking for part-time employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-on-one tutorial sessions to 3 students in English, Math, and Science.
  • Develop and implement tailored learning plans to meet the needs of each student.
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians and other stakeholders as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with primary school and high school students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement learning plans.
  • Flexibility to work afternoons (4-6pm) on Mondays and Thursdays.
