Job Description

We provide training that empowers individuals to develop or restore daily living skills, promote independence, safety, and mobility. Our certified specialists work closely with healthcare professionals to provide essential care on a referral basis in various settings.

As a Vision Rehabilitation Assistant, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team working together to provide exceptional support and guidance to clients with vision loss.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working under the direction of rehabilitation specialists to receive referrals and assist with implementing treatment plans/programs.
  • Providing input into the planning, implementation, modification, and evaluation of rehabilitative treatment plans.
  • Assisting individuals with sight loss to reinforce and practice adaptive skills for independent living, including personal management, household management, indoor orientation & mobility skills, low vision aids, basic keyboarding, and technology.
