About Our Youth Development Initiative
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated mentor to empower adolescents aged 10–17 to build confidence, resilience, and social skills through mentoring, role modelling, and inclusive community engagement.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Support mentees during scheduled activities, promoting inclusion and personal growth.
- Safely transport mentees using our vehicle, following all established policies.
- Create a safe, respectful space that prioritises the wellbeing of young women.
- Develop trust-based mentoring relationships through regular, meaningful contact.
- Document mentoring sessions to support program evaluation and improvement.
About You
Key requirements include:
- A certificate in Community Services, Education, Nursing, or a related field, or currently working towards one.
- Experience in a similar role or sector.
- The ability to work sensitively with people with complex needs.
- Not-for-Profit experience will be highly regarded.
