Job Role:

An APS5 Project Support Officer will be responsible for managing their workflow and making independent decisions within their area of responsibility. They will interpret and provide advice based on legislation, policy, and procedures.

The APS5 Project Support Officer will coordinate with a team to achieve results and provide guidance on methods of task completion. They may supervise a team and be accountable for setting work priorities, allocating tasks, and managing workflows and performance.

Our Enterprise Technology Operations Branch (ETOB) delivers quality ICT services to Defence in support of military operations and corporate business. Our purpose is to support ICT operations and maintain sustainable service levels to provide an effective ICT capability for our customers.

The APS5 Project Support Officer will be a key member of our team, contributing to the success of our branch by working collaboratively with others. To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, highly developed organisational skills, and a proven record of supporting multi-disciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and contributing to the work of a team
  • Developing and implementing solutions to complex problems
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders
