Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a APS5 Project Officer on a contract for 12 months with 2x12 months extension option.

**Main Duties**:

- assist in project management and coordination activities
- contribute to the development and management of project plans and schedules in accordance with the agency's project management framework
- contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement
- provide advice, procedural guidance, and technical expertise in specific areas of project work
- perform research work and analysis including contributing to the preparation of reports on relevant project activities including status updates and exception reports
- draft a range of written material including business cases, plans, executive briefs, and corporate documentation for review by senior staff
- assist with monitoring project budgets, review and report on expenditure and assist with procurement and contract management
- assist with the identification and management of project risks, issues, and benefits
- assist with project quality management to ensure project deliverables are fit for purpose and meet client needs
- support and maintain stakeholder relationships to support delivery of projects

- Customer service support CSMG - Level 2
- Methods and tools METL - Level 3
- Project management PRMG - Level 4
- Portfolio, program and project support PROF - Level 4
- Quality management QUMG - Level 4

**_ Ability to - _**
- communicate confidently and present messages in a clear, concise, and articulate manner
- support and maintain stakeholder relationships
- demonstrate personal resilience and prioritise work in the context of competing priorities.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Applicants must have Baseline Clearance or the ability to obtain.
