Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an APS5/6 Project Officer on a contract for 8 months.

**Position Overview**

**General duties of the roles will include, but are not limited to**:

- Project planning activities
- Developing and maintaining project artefacts
- Risk and Issues management
- Stakeholder and communications management
- Status reporting

**_Key duties of the position include:_**
- Undertaking project management under the direction of an EL1 Project Manager
- Undertaking research and analysis of policy, program, legislative and data issues to assist with preparing policy and/or program advice for senior executive and the Minister
- Developing and managing contracts and managing procurement

**_The following would be an advantage: _**
- Experience in project management, particularly with an agile focus.
- Experience in contract management and procurements
- An understanding of governance and secretariat functions and records management
- An understanding of Early Childhood Care and Education or ability to quickly develop this knowledge

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Successful applicants must hold a current Australian Government Security Clearance (AGSVA) or be willing to undergo and obtain an AGSVA clearance at the BASELINE clearance level..
