About The Role:

  • As a leader in your own OSHC service, you will be responsible for providing quality before and after school care and Holiday Programs for children with special needs.
  • You will create engaging programs using industry-leading tools, promoting learning and fun.
  • You will establish positive relationships within the school community, fostering trust and cooperation.
  • As a mentor, you will develop and guide a team of educators, helping them grow and succeed in their careers.
  • Working closely with Area Managers, you will support the needs of the service and region, driving continuous improvement.
  • Opportunities exist for career advancement, including the potential to step up into the Area Manager role, enhancing leadership skills.
  • Rostering for your service will be managed in collaboration with Area Managers.
  • You will be responsible for managing compliance documents and other administrative tasks.

About You:

  • We seek an individual who is passionate about making a difference in children's lives and has experience working with children with special needs.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong, positive relationships are essential.
  • Previous experience in the childcare/OSHC industry is necessary.
  • A recognized qualification in Teaching, Childcare, or Community Services is required.
  • Employee Blue Card valid in the relevant state is mandatory.
  • Willingness to obtain HLTAID012 First Aid in a Childcare Setting and National Criminal History Check is expected.
