Culinary Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced kitchen professional to join our team at Augustine Heights Long Day Care.

About the Service:

  • A 75-place service conveniently located near motorways and public transport, offering a peaceful environment with a large backyard.

About the Culinary Role:

  • A permanent full-time position, working 38 hours per week from Monday to Friday, 6:30 am – 2:30 pm.
  • Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks in accordance with national dietary guidelines.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a chef, preferably in early childhood or educational settings.
  • A strong understanding of child nutrition and meal planning principles.
  • Food Safety Supervisor certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
