Geriatrician Opportunity

We seek an experienced Geriatrician to provide expert clinical leadership in a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead ward rounds with a Staff Grade doctor or SpR, ensuring seamless collaboration between team members.
  • Act as clinical supervisor for junior staff, guiding daily consultant-led board rounds via a virtual platform.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, providing clinical expertise to support REACT services and the community Dementia Intensive Support Team.
Requirements:
  • Inclusion on the GMC Specialist Register for Geriatrics or within six months of expected CCT (or eligible for entry within 6 months).
  • Hold MRCP or equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrate experience working in a multidisciplinary setting, providing expert clinical opinion.
