Job Description:The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) provides clinical expertise and consultancy through advanced clinical leadership relevant to the specialty of infection prevention and control. They are responsible for managing the Infection Management and Prevention Service, working both as a clinical expert and manager for those within the team.
- Developing, implementing, and evaluating an Infection Prevention and Control Program for CHQ HHS.
- Representing at various internal and external forums.
- Making advanced level decisions in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.
- Providing infection management and prevention expertise across CHQ.
- Contributing significantly to National Safety Quality Health Care Standard (NSQHS) 3 for CHQ.
- Participating in state and national forums related to paediatric infection prevention and control.
