This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Infection Prevention and Control Specialist. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the provision of quality care while adhering to regulatory compliance requirements.
- Develop and implement effective infection prevention and control strategies to prevent, control, and manage infections effectively when they occur.
- Provide leadership and guidance on clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives to drive excellence in patient care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and sustainable use of infection prevention and control resources.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Registration as a Registered Nurse - Division 1 with current AHPRA Registration;
- Tertiary qualifications in Nursing/Health discipline;
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role in the aged care or community sector;
- Demonstrated expert knowledge and/or clinical experience in IPC and quality systems.
