About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Content Creator for Social Media Platforms to join our Homes vertical team. As a key member of our social content creation team, you will be responsible for creating and posting engaging content on Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook to grow audiences and traffic across our sites. Your daily operations will include ideating, creating, and delivering innovative and engaging content to tight deadlines.

Duties
  • Create searchable, creative, and saveable content on Pinterest.
  • Share content on the brand's social platforms, including Instagram stories and Reels.
  • Stay ahead of social trends and informed of competitor strategies.
  • Pitch on-brand and innovative ideas (videos, EDMs, series, clusters) to drive audience and possible commercial potential.
  • Understand and execute the social strategy to grow audience and traffic across the sites.
  • Check back on results with an analytic eye and adjust strategy where needed.
  • Keep the Digital Editor and team informed of social performance results, so they can adapt content strategy accordingly.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced digital environment.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • A deep understanding of creating content for short-form video and engaging content for Instagram Reels, stories, and grid, Pinterest, and TikTok.
  • A passion for social media and the appetite for creating best-in-class visuals.
  • The ability to adapt to a digital environment that changes day-to-day.
  • Great stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing social media including reporting and third-party scheduling programs.
  • Experience using Canva is ideal, and experience with editing programs such as CapCut is a bonus.
  • Meticulous time management and attention to detail.
