About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Correctional Services Professional.
As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of prisoners across various security levels.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient operation of prisons, manage prisoners effectively, and model positive behaviors to motivate prisoners to develop skills and knowledge for reintegration into the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and security of prisoners and staff
- Manage prisoner behavior and facilitate rehabilitation programs
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve operational objectives
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Certificate III in Correctional Practice (Adult Custodial)
- Paid training program
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
