Corrections Trainer and Assessor

This role is responsible for delivering training and professional development programs to enhance the skills of Corrective Services staff.
The successful candidate will work closely with our Training Team to develop and deliver tailored training programs that meet the needs of our staff.
About the RoleThis position requires a qualified trainer and assessor who can design and deliver high-quality training programs, as well as provide expert advice on emerging issues and trends.
You will be expected to act as a positive change agent, driving continuous improvement within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and deliver training programs for Corrective Services staff
- Collaborate with the Training Team to develop and implement training strategies
- Provide expert advice on emerging issues and trends
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
To be eligible for this position, you must have a Certificate III in Correctional Practice (Adult Community) or equivalent qualification, as well as relevant experience as a Community Corrections Officer.
A current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or progression towards the qualification is also required.
