Guest Service Professional

We are seeking a dynamic professional to join our team at W Melbourne. As a Guest Service Professional, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests in our Italian Restaurant, Lollo, and Bar Lollo.

As a Guest Service Professional, you will embody a polished professionalism with an audacious approach to creativity, and a playful individual who is passionate about creating memorable guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional service to guests in the restaurant and bar.
- Set tables according to event type and service standards.
- Answer questions on menu selections.
- Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, re-cook orders, and product availability.
- Relay additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
- Record transactions in the MICROS system at the time of order.
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and beverage.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day.
- Complete opening & closing duties, including restocking items and turning off lights.
- Presents physical and accurate checks to guests and process payments.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
- Anticipate and address guests' service needs.
- Communicate with clear and professional language.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
- Support the team to reach common goals.
- Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other team members.
