About the Role:

The Digital Medicare Enrolments Project team is responsible for delivering digital solutions that provide improved and consistent experiences for customers, staff and partners. We work closely with business areas to design and deliver simple and helpful services.

The team is responsible for designing, developing, testing and producing:

  • Centrelink online self-services, customer online accounts, claims and data exchanges
  • Cross-government Information Communications Technology (ICT) online self-services for Department of Veteran Affairs and National Disability Insurance Agency
  • Enterprise outbound communication, such as letters and notifications
  • Interactive Voice Response (IVR) and voice bio-metrics
Key Responsibilities:

- Performing analysis and evaluation of business processes and requirements
- Supporting the creation and implementation of solutions to meet business needs
- Providing support to daily operations and monitoring performance of business solutions
- Adhering to delivery and support methodologies and contributing ideas for improvement
- Conducting testing activities such as test coverage reviews, formal or informal test execution and test planning
- Collaborating with stakeholders to resolve issues, solve problems and ensure effective and timely implementation of projects
- Undertaking project quality management tasks such as peer and quality reviews of specifications and design documents
- Preparing correspondence such as reports and technical documentation for review by senior staff
- Escalating issues as required and suggesting alternative approaches and solutions
- Assisting with cost analysis activities as required
- Supporting the life cycle of changes and improvements to systems
- Providing training, guidance and support for new staff where required.

Requirements:
