Banking and Lending Expert

This is a senior role that requires an experienced professional to oversee credit assessments for consumer and commercial applications. The successful candidate will work closely with lending teams to ensure alignment with internal policies, legislation, and service standards.
The ideal candidate will have minimum 5 years' experience in a lending background or related discipline, holding a tertiary qualification in a relevant business or compliance-related field. They will demonstrate strong business acumen, residential lending expertise, and confident decision-making skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess consumer and commercial applications for credit in accordance with established lending policies
- Contribute to the development of risk management strategies and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Interpret legislation and trends relevant to lending operations and communicate them to stakeholders
- Manage property valuation risks and credit quality
- Represent the organization in internal and external forums as an experienced lending professional
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a lending background or related discipline
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant business or compliance-related discipline
