Guidance and Navigation Professional

We are seeking a Guidance and Navigation Professional to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to work with individuals who are blind or have low vision, providing assessment, training, intervention, and service coordination to assist them in achieving equity and access.
In this role, you will:
- Assess the ability of clients to travel safely and confidently within their community;
- Advise on and prescribe a range of mobility aids to meet individual needs;
- Monitor and advise on the use of low vision aids as applicable to a mobility program.
To be successful in this role, you will need approved qualifications in Orientation and Mobility as recognized by the Orientation and Mobility Association Australasia (OMAA).
You should also have knowledge and skills in working with children, adults, and older adults, as well as experience in providing client support and Orientation and Mobility services.
