Job Coach

About the Role

As a Job Coach, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with disabilities or health conditions to build better working lives. You will work one-on-one with clients to provide support and guidance towards job-readiness and sustainable employment.

You will be responsible for building relationships with local employers, sourcing job opportunities, and placing participants into employment that meets their needs and aspirations.

Your exceptional communication skills and ability to work under pressure will ensure that all activity is appropriately recorded, documented, and adheres to compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support and guidance to clients to achieve their employment goals;
  • Build relationships with local employers to source job opportunities and place participants into employment;
  • Monitor and record client progress, ensuring adherence to compliance requirements;
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of employment services;
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of employment trends, job market analysis, and best practices in employment services.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service or a client-facing role;
  • Demonstrated experience of working with people overcoming challenges;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Hold a current Driver's Licence.
