We are seeking an experienced Senior Claims Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our claims management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and support.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of claims, providing technical support on claims strategies and management, conducting quality assurance reviews, coaching and mentoring claims consultants, and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

As a subject matter expert, you will use your extensive knowledge to develop and enhance the skills and capabilities of the team, drive continuous improvement and process enhancements, and uphold our claim philosophy.

Your expertise will be crucial in fostering an environment of excellence and ensuring that our claims processes are both efficient and effective.

To succeed in this role, you will need proven experience as a Senior Claims Consultant in Life Insurance (or a high-performing claims consultant) managing end-to-end retail insurance claims, including Income Protection, Total & Permanent Disability, and Trauma.

You will also require expertise in managing multiple policies and customers, resolving complaints, and reviewing disputed claim decisions.

Strong understanding of LICOP (Life Insurance Code of Practice) and the Insurance Contracts Act is essential.

A proven ability to drive continuous improvement and process enhancement initiatives will also be highly valued.
