Job Title:

Certified Claims Expert

We are seeking a Certified Claims Expert to join our team. As an Eligibility Specialist, you will play a vital role in making informed decisions on claim eligibility, ensuring compliance with workers compensation legislation and minimizing financial impact associated with claim re-opens, recurrences, and reactivations of benefits.

Your primary focus will be on active consultation with internal and external stakeholders to gather relevant information, accurately assess liability and entitlements, and ensure that all claims are reasonable, necessary, and justified under the legislation and claims policy.

To excel in this role, you will need to have a demonstrated understanding of the Workers Industry, laws, and associated regulations, as well as experience managing claims in either a Claims Advisor, Case Manager, or Senior Case Manager position.

About the Role
  • You will work closely with stakeholders to collect relevant information and make sound liability determinations.
  • You will be responsible for actively minimizing the financial impact associated with claim re-opens, recurrences, and reactivations of benefits.

About You:

  • Demonstrated expertise in the Workers Industry, laws, and associated regulations.
  • Experience managing claims in a Claims Advisor, Case Manager, or Senior Case Manager role is desired.
