About the Role
">The Technical Support Officer is responsible for maintaining the school's Information and Communication Technology (ICT) systems and network, ensuring reliability and sustainability to enhance the learning environment.
]Key Responsibilities:
">- Maintain ICT systems and network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Provide technical support and training to staff members on software applications and hardware usage.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain information systems and ICT equipment in accordance with school business needs and Department of Education policies and guidelines.
- Develop and implement a replacement plan for ICT assets and resources.
Selection Criteria:
">- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels, including written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Conceptual and analytical skills to develop innovative solutions to IT problems.
- Organisational skills to develop effective administrative practices and work independently with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
">- Australian or New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency, or valid visa with relevant work rights.
- Valid Working With Children Check before commencing employment.
- Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before commencing employment.
