About the opportunity
The Technical Systems Specialist plays a key role within the Student Systems team, focusing on delivering strategic improvement projects. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining expertise in student systems and supporting infrastructure, collaborating across organisational units, conducting requirements analysis, managing system upgrades, supporting day-to-day operations, and creating operational reports.
What you'll do :
- Develop and maintain expert knowledge of data elements, student systems, and supporting platforms.
- Implement system changes, including analysis, testing, and deployment.
- Research and identify opportunities for system improvements.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members.
- Contribute to team leadership.

- Strong knowledge of IT platforms and protocols.
- Leadership experience and influencing skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Organisational and project management skills.
Salary details
Appointment at HEO 8 with a package up to $152,033, including base salary ($114,282 - $129,943) plus 17% superannuation.
