Business Assurance Lead

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Assurance Lead to join our Customer Engagement Assurance team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing Line 1 Risk support for the Customer Engagement Portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Customer Engagement Assurance Team, including managing performance, setting objectives, and allocating responsibilities.
- Facilitate and participate in Risk Management Forums, preparing specialist content and driving improvement in Risk capability and culture.
- Conduct and support central and divisional regulatory control attestations, and other attestation activities as required.
- Support the business in actioning outcomes of thematic reviews and deep dives, and other hot spots identified through trend analysis and audit support.
- Maintain and manage risk data completeness and quality.
- Support the Business with reviewing their risk profiles and control environment.
- Oversee and support the Business with risk treatment plans and regular risk reviews.
- Provide risk advisory support to the Business, making informed decisions on risk management.
Requirements
- Proven ability to manage high-performing teams in environments facing significant change and workload.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and enablers.
- Analytical skills to analyse risk and controls data from multiple sources.
- Experience working within the Operational Risk Framework, including detailed knowledge of Operational Risk Management Process.
- Experience in working with external bodies relevant to regulatory obligations.
- Proven ability to identify pragmatic solutions to managing risks.
- Deep technical knowledge of risk and compliance regulation and frameworks.
- Experience in managing designing and managing controls across the business.
