About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sustainability Expert to join our team. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for managing sustainability across the project, ensuring compliance with all relevant statutes, regulations, rules, procedures, standards, and policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Sustainable Management Plan (SMP) that meets project requirements.
  • Provide expert sustainability advice to functional managers, integrating sustainability obligations across all project delivery functions.
  • Promote sustainability in design through facilitated workshops and follow-up initiatives.
  • Interface with stakeholders on sustainability issues and report accordingly.
  • Participate in environment, sustainability, design, construction, and commercial meetings as required.
  • Deliver sustainability outcomes consistent with sustainability requirements, including IS rating requirements.
  • Report on compliance and against sustainability requirements.
  • Establish program and project controls for sustainability performance monitoring.
  • Manage specialist consultants to ensure contract requirements are met.
Required Skills and Qualifications

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Engineering, or similar.

- Demonstrated experience in a similar role, ideally 5-6 years.

- ISAP accreditation.

- Experience with ISC certifications and compliance.

- Passion for developing and implementing sustainable solutions.
