We are looking to fill a challenging role for a Senior PHP Developer to join our team. This position is remote, and we offer a relaxed environment with a small team of dedicated individuals.
As a member of our IT team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the application's frontend, backend, and order processing engine using PHP8. Your primary focus will be on creating a highly extensible and scalable e-commerce framework, spread across multiple cloud-based servers.
The ideal candidate should have several years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex web applications, preferably involving e-commerce. You should possess a solid foundation in computer science fundamentals, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
In terms of skills, you should be proficient in modern PHP frameworks such as Phalcon, Symfony, or Laravel, and their related backend services. Additionally, you should be familiar with key value storage systems like Redis and APC, NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Elasticsearch, and RDMS systems like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
Your hands-on experience with parallel processing and queueing systems such as Gearman, RabbitMQ, or Apache Kafka is also essential. Furthermore, you should have good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to self-manage.
We estimate the salary for this role to be around $120,000 per year, based on industry standards and the level of experience required. However, please note that this figure is an estimate and may vary depending on individual circumstances.
