Job Title: Roofing Specialist

The key responsibility of the Roofing Specialist is to construct, repair and replace building roofs or other structure roofs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive assignments, instructions and direction from the Foreman related to roofing projects.
  • Read and interpret instructions and documentation to plan work activities.
  • Select tiles, wood shingles and other necessary roofing materials.
  • Deliver roofing projects on time.
  • Build roofs using various materials and tools.
  • Repair or replace broken materials.
  • Remove debris from roofs to place materials.
  • Smooth roof surfaces and fill in edges with cement.
  • Ensure roofs protect buildings from weather conditions.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, co-workers and supervisors.
  • Move materials and equipment to work locations and set up work sites.
  • Complete records, maintain tools and equipment and perform clean-up/housekeeping activities.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Demonstrate knowledge of hand tools, roofing, construction and maintenance techniques and safety procedures.
  • Perform physical activities such as bending, standing, climbing or walking.
  • Be proficient with Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Speak, read and understand the English Language.
  • Pass overseas medical screening and be in good health.
  • Hold a valid country of origin's driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hold any roofing certification/s highly desired.
