Job Overview:

A skilled Roofer is required to install, maintain, and repair roofs of buildings. The job involves selecting materials, building roofs, repairing or replacing broken materials, and ensuring roofs protect buildings from weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Selects tiles, wood shingles, and other necessary roofing materials.
  • Builds roofs using various materials and tools.
  • Repairs or replaces broken materials.
  • Removes debris from roofs to place materials.
  • Smothes roof surfaces and fills in edges with cement.
  • Maintains a safe work environment by observing and following all safety rules and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of hand tools, roofing, construction and maintenance techniques, and safety procedures.
  • Must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, bending, standing, climbing, or walking.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Any roofing certification/s is highly desired.

Education and Experience:

  • Must be at least a High School, Technical, or Vocational course graduate.
  • Must have at least three (3) years of experience in roofing, maintenance, or construction environment.
