Front Office Receptionist
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Front Office team as a Receptionist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to our guests, responding to their requests promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of guest accounts, including charges and payments.
- Ensure the security of guest and hotel accounts, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to strict security procedures.
- Communicate effectively with hotel guests and departments, both verbally and in writing, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Operate the switchboard and guest messaging system, handling all calls and messages promptly and professionally.
- Assist with reservations sales calls, promoting hotel facilities and maximizing sales through sound product knowledge and selling skills.
Requirements:
- Previous Front Office experience, preferably in a hotel or resort environment.
- Professional telephone manner and exceptional customer service skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- A friendly and positive attitude, with a willingness to work in a team environment.
- Excellent grooming and presentation standards.
- Proficient computer skills, including Word, Excel, PMS, and Outlook.
- Previous experience with Opera Cloud or similar PMS is desirable, but not essential.
- A current full driver's license is desirable, but not essential.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
